Blake Paterson

Blake Paterson is the founder and editor of Perdido Street, an independent newsletter covering politics and public policy in New Orleans and across Louisiana. He spent seven years reporting on state and local politics for The Times-Picayune and The Advocate before launching Perdido Street in October 2026. He grew up in the suburbs of Houston, graduated from Harvard and lives in Mid City with two orange cats.
